These changes are incorporated
in the May 2007 update of the Arcana Evolved eBook, but we provide this
list for the benefit of those with the hardcover edition.
Chapter 2
Clarification: All
skill entries for racial levels use the phrase "Intelligence bonus."
Replace with "Intelligence modifier."
p. 16: Humans can't evolve as 1st-level characters, so they shouldn't have skill
points at 1st character level listed.
p. 36: In the random height table, spryte base height should be 15 inches.
p. 21: Loresong faen can't evolve as 1st-level characters, so they shouldn't
have skill points at 1st character level listed.
p. 22: Quickling faen can't evolve as 1st-level characters, so they shouldn't
have skill points at 1st character level listed.
p. 30: Clarification: At 3rd level, mojh receive levitate an additional
time per day. Thus they can use the ability 2/day at this level.
Chapter 3
Clarification: All skill entries for classes use the phrase "Intelligence
bonus." Replace with "Intelligence modifier."
p. 49: At 25th level, a Champion of Life has SR 40.
p. 50: At 25th level, a Champion of Magic has SR 40.
p. 53: At 25th level, a Champion of a Place gets SR 40.
p. 53: At 25th level, a Champion of a Person, has SR 40.
p. 51: Under True Weapon, replace "Champion of Magic" with
"Champion of Freedom."
p. 51: In the second column, replace "light" with "justice."
p. 52: The Champion of Knowledge's 5th- and 15th-level powers (Combat Insight
and Defensive Insight) are supernatural abilities.
p. 53: A Champion of a Person or Place receives DR 15/+2 (or 15/magic).
p. 60: Under Athame, a mage blade can enhance his athame with special abilities
(e.g. keen or dancing) without first adding pluses to it. Note
that one figures the cost of the weapon enhancements without taking into account
any weapon bonus.
p. 66: Delete dagger (†) footnote in table.
p. 73: Add Search (Int) to the Runethane's class skills.
p. 90: Change the number of 3rd-rank combat rites at 25th level to 3.
p. 95: Under Heal Spirit, replace "temporary ability score drain"
with "ability damage."
p. 99: Under Spellcasting, replace 4th level with 5th level (in the sentence
"For example, a 5th-level magister/9th-level greenbond can cast spells
as high as 4th level...")
p. 100: For the Archer, replace "Rapid Shot" with Bonded Item (bow)
as the first-level Ceremonial feat.
Chapter 4
p. 101: Change the greenbond's number of skill points to 4 + Int modifier (not
2).
p. 104-105: The classes Akashic, Champion, Mage Blade, Magister, Runethane,
and Witch all gain these Knowledge skills as class skills: Dracha, Dragons,
Faen, Giants, Litorians, Mojh, Sibeccai, Verrik.
p. 105: Add Search (Int) to the Runethane's class skills.
p. 121: In the Tumble skill, second paragraph, delete "made to hide."
Chapter 5
p. 127: For Power of the Name and Ritual Combat, add "Truename" as
a prerequisite.
p.127: Natural Archer and Natural Swordsman should list their benefit as +1
bonus to damage rolls (not attack bonus).
p. 134: A spellcaster with the Creator Mage feat can apply the template only
to a number of spells equal to his Intelligence bonus. This is a total of all
spells with the Programmed and/or Permanent templates.
p. 146: The example should say: "For example, if a 2nd-level warmain with
30 hit points and a +3 Constitution bonus takes this feat, she gains 6 additional
hit points in addition to the 1d12+3 she normally would gain for the level.
So, if she rolled a 7, her new total would be 46 hp (30 + 7 + 3 + 6)."
Chapter 6
p. 164: Under Armor for Unusual Creatures, the second paragraph should read:
"Armor for nonhumanoids (except giants) and winged humanoids costs twice
as much as the same armor for a normal humanoid."
p. 167: The Shields table needs a column for shield damage, as follows:

p. 194: The Trip an Opponent action does provoke an attack of opportunity.
Chapter 8
p. 201: Add (Calling) to the subschools after Conjuration.
p. 202: In the sentence "Spells that are 9th level have no heightened effects,"
replace "9th" with "10th."
p. 202: Note under Magic Item Creation Modifier that, unless stated otherwise,
all Exotic spells have a Magic Item Creation Modifier of x1.5.
p. 212: Clarification: Under the Fire template, note that fire is both
an energy type and an elemental type.
p. 214: The dispel DC listed under the Unraveling template should be 15+caster
level.
p. 221: Sample potions table: Delete the duplicate mention of greater transfer
wounds potion.
p. 222: Under Enruned Scepter, replace "forceblast" with "forcebeam."
p. 222: Under Dragonhelm, change "everlasting terror" to "touch
of pain and touch of fear."
Chapter 9
p. 230-231: Wicked barb is a second-level spell, not a third-level spell.
p. 231: Spirit of prowess should have a bonus of +6 in the spell list.
p. 238: Clarification: Animate undead legion has a casting time of 24
hours.
p. 242: Add the [Sibeccai] descriptor to bring down the moon.
p. 248: Under conjure energy creature X, replace the sentence "Alternatively,
you can create 1d3 creatures from the 8th-level list" with "Alternatively,
you can create 1d3 creatures from the 9th-level list."
p. 251: Delete the Creation subschool from curse of the chaotic mind.
p. 257: Clarification: Disorient's school should be Transmutation.
p. 272: Clarification: Hunter serpent has a casting time of 1 full round.
p. 274: Clarification: Immortality has a casting time of 24 hours.
p. 287: Under protective spell, replace "forceblast"
with "forcebeam."
p. 287: Clarification: Purge akashic memory has a casting time of 24
hours.
p. 298: Shield companion should be listed as a Conjuration (Creation)
spell.
p. 298: Shifting sanctum should be listed as a Transmutation (Teleport)
spell.
p. 300: Small enough should be listed as a Transmutation spell.
p. 300: Clarification: Song of paralysis has a casting time of 1 standard
action.
p. 302: Under spellmaster replace "sorcerous burst"
with "sorcerous blast"
p. 304: Stimulate should be listed as an Enchantment (Compulsion) spell.
p. 310: Change touch of weakness' duration from Instantaneous to 1 round/level.
p. 312: Under unstoppable energy, replace "forceblast"
with "forcebeam."
p. 313: Clarification: Veil of darkness has a casting time of 1 standard
action.
p. 314: Vorpal claws should be listed as a Transmutation spell.
p. 314: Wall of sound should be listed as Spell Resistance: Yes.
Chapter 10
p. 361: Havanar
Balacos has SR 35 (not SR 30).\
Chapter 11
p. 369: Replace "Sunder" with "Improved Sunder" in the Crystal
Warrior feat requirements.
p. 374: Replace "Dragon Magic" in the special ability description
with "Dragon Mage" when referring to the feat.
p. 377: The Knight of the Axe prestige class should have a Hit Die of d10 listed.
p. 382: Clarification: In the Nightwalker class list, replace "+1d6
sneak attack" with "sneak attack +1d6."
p. 386: The Runelord receives the runic template in the same fashion as the
Runethane (see Runethane class description for details).
Chapter 12
p. 395: In the
last paragraph of the Dark Warden description, delete dragons from the list
of creatures that "have no regard for the land."
p. 407: Base Attack/Grapple for the Domesticated Radont should be +6/+22.
Base Attack/Grapple for the Wild Radont should be +10/+27.
Saves for the Wild Radont should be Fort +13, Ref +9, Will +6.
Domestic Radonts get these feats: Light Sleeper, Power Attack, Stomp, and Trample.
Wild Radonts get these feats: Light Sleeper, Power Attack, Speed Burst, Stomp,
and Trample.
p. 407: Clarification: Remove italics from armor and shield listings
in the Rhodin/Skurg table.
p. 413: The sample Incorporeal Undead: Undead Wind Witch should have a CR of
7 (not 5).
p. 414: The DC to remove a negative level should be 10 + one-half the total
levels of the base creature + the modified incorporeal undead creature's Charisma
modifier. (The "10 +" is missing from the formula.)
